April 19 @ 12:00 - 14:00

Change and Charity: Should non-profit organizations be run using a business model?

What is the role of commercial business models and practices in non-profit community spaces? Do they contribute to an efficient implementation of the work or do they take us away from a lived expression of grassroots, non-commercialized commitments? This public conversation looks at the management practices of non-profits and whether-how they benefit from being run like private enterprises.

This conversation is organized in collaboration with the Community Service Initiative at the Concordia University John Molson School of Business
