The aim of the Housing and Urban Planning Committee is to study and make a stand about questions of urban development, homelessness and construction in the district. The major files are currently the Franciscan lot and the redevelopment of the site of the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
At the Seedlings 101 workshop facilitated by Éco-quartier Peter-McGill last week, we were happy to name our 10 participants to the Harvest to Table challenge! It is with a lot of motivation and enthusiasm that our urban gardeners planted the seeds of their choice, guided by Anne, Greening & urban agriculture project manager at Éco-quartier Peter-McGill.
You are interested in urban agriculture? You would like to try it at home? Join the Harvest to Table challenge Facebook group, it is open to all and aims at encouraging urban agriculture lovers to share tips and experiences!
What’s next: our participants will take advantage of the social media and upcoming neighbourhood activities to share their experience. Stay tuned!
