Report on the Family Picnic at the Grand Seminar (Sulpician’s site)

On Sunday August 12th, Families Downtown‘s Parents’ Committee along with the Family Mobilization Officer of My Peter-McGill held a picnic at the Grand Seminar in collaboration with the Sulpicians. This is the first time that a public event has been held on this beautiful green space, tucked away on Sherbrooke Street, at the corner of du Fort. With a free theatre performance from Le Théâtre de la Botte Trouée, popsicles and a dozen families, the event was a success. We are very excited about this new partnership, and are looking forward to future collaboration. Currently, the Ville-Marie Borough is also in contact with the Sulpiciens via the Accès-Jardins program, which aims to open institutionally owned green space to the public. For more information, visit the Accès-Jardins website at (available in French only).
