While travelling within Quartier 21, we might not always feel safe.
This survey will allow us to define the areas that you feel predominantly concerned about and the issues that have come up regarding your safety within the block delineated by St-Mathieu St, St-Marc St, de Maisonneuve blvd and Ste-Catherine St. If you are a resident, worker, student or customer of the Quartier 21 block, please fill out the short survey by following the link below :

As you may already know, we are planning to improve the alleyways and sidewalks around Quartier 21; construction will begin in the Spring. The main goal of the project is to reduce the heat island effect by increasing vegetation and rain water permeability. As a strategy to improve the space, several measures to improve your security will be implemented as well, including but not limited to:
1) a redesigned waste management centre (including composting);
2) the installation of additional lighting in these alleys.
