From Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm, residents of Peter-McGill will be able to get free herb and vegetable seeds from the new Éco-quartier seed bank!
How does it work?
The concept is based on sharing: residents can get free seeds of herbs and vegetables they want to grow in the summer. At the end of the growing season, they must replenish the bank by contributing seeds from the plants they have grown. This will allow other members of the community to benefit from the bank! Whether you grow your herbs and vegetables in the ground or in pots, in full southern exposure or in a shady nook, you will find suitable seeds! All you need to do to take advantage of the seed bank is come to the offices of Éco-quartier Peter-McGill (1240 St-Marc) during opening hours; you will need a proof of address.
