Community House
The Community House is a place designed, created, and run in collaboration with you. Everyone is welcome and can make use of the available materials: workstations, board games, toys, coffee corner, chairs, art supplies... and much more!

An activity room is available for your meetings and activities, with a capacity for about twelve people.

A brief history of our house...
From May to present:
Setting up the animation calendar and actions of the table (family baskets, neighborhood assembly…), promotion, working with partners on numerous projects (breastfeeding support, parenting workshop, science workshop, mobile dental clinic, legal counseling...), creating a family committee, organizing several events (bazaar, potluck, end-of-school party…)
May 1st, 2024:
Official inauguration of the neighborhood house with our partners and residents
April 16th, 2024:
Opening of the neighborhood house to residents
February/April 2024:
Preparation and setup of the neighborhood house (searching for a space, equipment, regulations, action plan, funding, hiring…)
January 2024:
Decision to set up a neighborhood house at Peter McGill
November/December 2023:
Reflection at the Table on a project addressing the neighborhood’s issues
