Did you know?

4,930 people over the age of 65 live in Peter-McGill, with almost 41% of them experiencing issues of isolation and 13% living below the poverty line.

The newly formed Seniors Committee aims to discuss and share information between groups and institutions in order to better identify the needs of seniors living in Peter-McGill, as well as solutions to improve services offered in the district.

Objective

To create a network of groups that work together in order to:

  • Develop a portrait of needs of the population
  • Evaluate and share resources
  • Cultivate outreach initiatives that help reach vulnerable seniros
