COLLECTIVE IMPACT PROJECT (CIP)
The Collective Impact Project (CIP) seeks to bring together the efforts of various stakeholders at multiple levels to combat poverty and social exclusion. The projects are based on a shared vision for change developed in collaboration with neighborhood organizations and aimed at creating systemic change. Contributions from philanthropic, institutional, and community partners make it possible to provide flexible funding to different neighborhoods, as well as support through training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one meetings.
Our vision for change in Peter-McGill focuses on the development of indoor and outdoor public spaces that foster social cohesion and coexistence.
In the long term, we hope our neighbourhood will have a network of public spaces adapted to socio-environmental realities, helping to reduce social inequalities and promote harmonious community living.
Among the concrete initiatives carried out through the CIP are:
- Neighbourhood greening and cleanup efforts
- Environmental citizenship education
- The Peter-McGill in Motion project
- The Well-Being Brigades (Brigades de bien-être)
Une série d’activités afin d’animer les espaces publics du quartier
Peter-McGill in Motion is a community initiative that transforms the neighborhood’s public spaces into vibrant places for connection, culture, and shared experiences.
Through accessible, creative, and inclusive events, we aim to strengthen ties among residents, encourage the use and stewardship of shared public spaces, and celebrate community life.
This initiative is carried out in partnership with Innovation Jeunes and Sollicité.
