The Seniors Committee aims to reduce isolation among seniors and remove barriers to accessing resources — whether related to mobility or access to information (e.g., the digital divide).
Seniors Forum on June 13, 2023
GOALS
The Seniors Committee brings together representatives from various organizations to improve the quality of life for seniors in the neighborhood.
Its mission is to:
- Identify the needs of seniors.
- ICoordinate activities.
- IDevelop annual action plans.
The committee also promotes social inclusion and active aging while ensuring ongoing follow-up on initiatives supporting seniors.
Seniors Survey
In 2023, we conducted a survey among seniors to better understand their expectations and needs in the Peter-McGill neighborhood.
Nearly 50 seniors between the ages of 55 and 95 responded to the survey.
