Assistant facilitator afterschool activities

Tasks : The YWCA Montreal is looking for volunteers to support the work of facilitators who lead activities with youth ages 6 to 12.

* Give the children a warm welcome

* Ensure the children’s safety;

* Assist with sports and artistic activities

* Assist with homework (during the week)

* Accompany the group when doing punctual outings;

* Any other tasks requested by the Coordinator.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm; Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm

Engagement: at least once a week, from September 8^th to December 14^th

Assistant educator drop-in day-care

Tasks: The YWCA Montreal is looking for volunteers to accompany the responsible of the drop-in day-care in the animation and care of children aged 18 months to 5 years.

* Warmly greet parents and children;

* Help create and facilitate the children’s activities;

* Ensure the children’s safety;

* Tidy the space and maintain materials organized;

* Assist with the day-to-day tasks of the drop-in centre;

* Other tasks requested by the drop-in centre facilitator.

Schedule and engagement: Tuesday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, from September 10^th to December 17^th
