Join a Committee
Are you a Peter-McGill resident, or do you study in the neighbourhood? Are there issues our district that you feel passionate about? Do you want to contribute to making a difference? You can help by joining a committee!
Committees are composed concerned residents and representatives of local organisations that work together towards a common goal. Committees meet once every 4, 6 or 8 weeks for 1.5 to 2 hours per meeting.
Help plan fun and educational events in Peter-McGill!
Discuss issues relating to urban planning and development downtown, including schools, green spaces and social housing.
Meet downtown parents, talk about family issues that matter to you and help plan family-friendly activities. A representative of the Committee is invited to sit on the Families Downtown committee.
