Starting in March, residents of Peter-McGill district will be able to pick up free herb and vegetable seeds from the Éco-quartier seed bank!
How does it work?
The seed bank concept is based on sharing: residents who want to grow herbs and vegetables in the summer can get started by picking up free seeds from the bank. At the end of the growing season, they must donate surplus seeds from the plants they have grown so that other members of the community can benefit from the bank.
To participate, simply drop by the offices of Éco-quartier Peter-McGill (1240 St-Marc) during opening hours; you will need to show a proof of address. First come, first served!
