Council members must be between the ages of 16 and 25, live in or frequent downtown Montreal and be committed to continued engagement and completing the 9 month mandate (September-May) for approximately 3 hours every two weeks. Only 10 youth will be selected for Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi Montreal Downtown’s Member’s Council.
It is FREE to join the council and the meetings will be conducted bilingually in French and English. Meetings will include the planning and carrying out of youth led projects in the community as well as workshops, trainings and consultations on topics such as civic engagement, employability, community development and leadership.
