Created in 1985, Entraide Bénévole Métro (EBM) is a non-profit community organization located in downtown Montréal, Québec.
EBM provides services, free of charge, to seniors aged 65 and over, experiencing temporary or permanent loss of autonomy and who live in central Downtown Montréal and part of Westmount, Québec.
EBM is looking for a full time Volunteer Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Director, the Volunteer Coordinator responds to requests for EBM’s services by matching volunteers and clients and facilitating the execution of these services.
Main responsibilities include :
- Recruitment, training and retention of volunteers and interns.
- Responding to requests for clients and matching volunteers with clients.
- Maintaining database and provide monthly statistics.
- Liaising with the CLSC and community groups.
Qualifications:
- DEC in Social Services or related field.
- Must be fluently bilingual (English and French, oral and written).
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Pages, Excel, ZOOM).
- Experience working with seniors and in non-profit sector an asset.
Working hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
Ability to work from home 2-3 days per week. Start date as soon as possible.
